It's Garry Shandling's Show (1986-1990 Showtime, Sitcom/Comedy Television Program) Seasons 1-4 + Extras (Complete) Seasons 1-4 TV-Rips by Murph25 of the MySpleen.Net network Extras Ripped by BloodLogic Delivered to the Public by BloodLogic Image: http://img152.imageshack.us/img152/6743/shandlingln0.jpg Description: The 30-minute sitcom starred Shandling as, more or less, himself – a neurotic, somewhat self-obsessed ("how's my hair?") stand-up comedian who just happened to be aware he was a TV sitcom character. Garry spent just as much time interacting with the studio audience as he did the regular cast members, offering up opening monologues and show-closing summations of the episode's events. On Garry's show, all the supporting characters knew they were on a TV show, not just Garry; and the studio audience was often in the storyline - on one episode, Garry invited them to make themselves at home after he left the scene (they ended up throwing a raucous party); in another, a surprise birthday party for Garry's mom went awry when the audience's shout of "surprise!" caused her to have a heart attack. One memorable episode saw Garry move out of town, with his apartment (and show) taken over by Red Buttons; when he tried to return, his friends admitted they liked Red better. The show introduced much of the country to Shandling and paved the way for his more successful run as late-night talk show host Larry Sanders on HBO's The Larry Sanders Show. But, if you want, you can get Friends and That 70's Show on DVD. Ah, yes, there's nothing like a self-imposed censorship of massive, industry giants, telling us what we're allowed to think, allowed to watch, allowed to talk about. And even for those DVDs that are available, they cost over 5,000% of what the product cost to make -- $0.03 for the plastic, $9.96 for some fat-cat, millionaire who sits behind a desk for four hours a day playing solitaire. And I guess some of that cash trickles down the chain of command to the lawyers who keep our artists poor, abused, mistreated, and exploited. Eventually, I'll get a BayWords account. But, if you have requests, questions about content, or even discussion about politics and sociology, please, post the comments here in the torrent; or, if it's unrelated to the torrent, then just post the comment in the most recent torrent of mine. Thanks!

Do you live in the states or not and it dosent matter but what do you think of Obama
Ah, an interesting question, Penguin87...
First, I do not live in the states; however, I am interested and intrigued by international politics -- especially when they have a tremendous effect on the world's people. As to Obama, my sentiments are not warm. Like his opponent, Obama did not mention how the US manufactured a coup in Venezuela, Chile, or Indonesia; he does not mention the Bolivian "Gas War" (2005) or the Oaxacan protests and demonstrations (2006). There is the violent repression of trade unions or popular movements in many third world nations, throughout South America, Africa, and Asia. These are not simple internal conflicts, but instigated attacks from the US's corporations. In each of these nations, either the US military is heavily active in participating (like Nicaragua, Haiti, Cuba, or Israel), or the US corporations are heavily active in exploitation (like in Chile, Brazil, Russia, or China). We here who use thepiratebay, we ought to be aware of the MediaDefender scandal, where US corporations hired hackers to sabotage and destroy our systems. Even in Scandinavia, the long tentacles of the Capitalist-Statist machine can still manipulate policy and law, but neither candidate will discuss it. Why is it that Obama didn't mention that McCain's supporters and funders are genocidists, murderers, and tyrants of the highest caliber? Easy: Because that's where his funding came from, too. Those who live in glass houses do not throw rocks.
Or, to better summarize my opinion of this and ALL elections, I'll borrow a passage from the immortal Futurama:
John Jackson (Republican): I say your 0.5% titanium tax goes too far!
Jack Johnson (Democrat): And I say, your 0.5% titanium tax doesn't go too far enough!
Fry: Wait a second... They look like clones!
Leela: They are clones.
[From the episode: Futurama - S2E03 - A Head in the Polls.]
(Yes, I do take political lessons from television shows, when they are intelligent enough.)
Nonetheless, it is the first black, American president -- but, I do not attribute this victory as a political success. It is a socio-economic success. Creating the Civil Rights Bill in America did not take the electioneering method. Nobody supported Kennedy on the grounds that he would sign the bill. It had nothing to do with the political success of his campaign -- it had everything to do with the social success of the civil rights protestors. After being kicked, attacked, beaten, and ripped apart by dogs in the streets, America could finally see exactly what their first-and-second-citizen classes were doing to its people. Kennedy had almost nothing to do with it; likewise, I think the same about Obama. The change of attitude in the American public that allows a black president to become elected -- this is not the product of electioneering, but the product of decades-long struggle for equality and civil liberties. So, before you attempt to give Obama some credit for reaching such an exceptional level, remember that he didn't do it himself. It was accomplished by the struggle, the pain, and the suffering of the common people united in a just cause.
That is my opinion of the election of Barack Obama. Merely a new character to be master of all, and certainly not what I want, because I want anarchy!
Do not ever forget about the past actions of the Democratic Party. In the thirties, Franklin D. Roosevelt was the hero of the Democratic Party -- but never forget that he is the only US president to build concentration camps on US soil. In 1947, when congress passed the taft-hartley act, Democratic president Harry Truman used it twelve times to violently suppress unionists and strikers. In 1968, Democratic vice president Hubert Humphrey appeared at that year's Democratic-National-Convention. While Humphrey was making speeches about liberty, police were attacking peaceful, non-violent protestors in the street, just outside the convention. Do you think Humphrey is honorable for that? Hardly, but Obama did the exact same thing at the 2004 Democratic-National-Convention. The police went throu

Of course, please print out and distribute to anyone my last response, or any response, really. If you want to know about anarchy as a viable social order for our world, please check out the included .txt document, "The Libertarian Socialist Revolution." Thank you again!

That's more than one question, and some of those are technical questions about other torrents of mine.
>>if you want your real name on it or your login name if nesscary thats
Login name or not, in part or whole, distribute anything of mine to anyone, openly and freely.
>>huh what do you think about obama being the antichrist
Obama is just a new pawn filling an old position. He is neither the ultimate evil, nor the ultimate good; he is another common, average, ordinary human being. After having enough authority and power in his hands, the effect on his person will be the same that power has on any person. The true ultimate evil is the legalist system that empowers a single person above the rest, and then exploits and represses the group for that monarch's power. That is to say, it is government, the law, and to a greater extent, the state that are responsible for the evils that Obama has committed and will commit.
>>on the boondocks i never got any video just audio dio you know where i can get the video to play on windows media player
In that torrent, and in this torrent, it says in the torrent description clearly: "VLC Player Compatible (verson # 0.8.6f): {Tested and Confirmed}" Which player do you think works?

Hey BloodLogic, I love what you are doing with all your torrents. All these great shows I almost forgot about. Anyhoo, I just wanted to say Thanks and also, I posted a little tribute to you on my website.
Thank you muchly, i used to watch this show in grade seven and it still stands up to this day, right now. Today.
BELLY LAUGHS GALORE, Bloodlogic! Thanks a million for all the endorphins you're helping me create--and keep it up!
Probably the best torrent I've seen on TPB. A big thank you BloodLogic. A bit scary Dl'ing 25 Gb with such few seeders.. But I'll do my bit to keep it goin'. Shandling is pure comic genius.
Had really looked forward to this torrent. Unfortunately the video quality is barely watchable and audio is bad. All in all a poor vhs rip. Don't bother wasting your bandwith on this rubbish.
Echo netfoxx, although the torrent is supposed to be great, the low quality VHS ripoff is a letdown. Be warned!
This has just been released on dvd!
Thank you very much
I agree with the comment about quality, poor video and audio. Not watchable on a tv set.
After watching the first episode and part of the second I won't even look for a dvd rip. It is okay, and has its funny moments, but not nearly as good as The Larry sanders Show.
Thanks anyway, but I just can't watch such poor quality. It was so bad I had blurred vision in one eye for over an hour afterward. It is well seeded and downloaded reasonably fast. I will seed back at least one for one and then delete.

To all the people making these "unwatchable on a TV set" comments. Are you people visually impared or just a bunch of spoiled 12 years olds who don't know anything besides HDTV?
It is what it is, VCR source. Standard quality for such things and perfectly watchable on a TV. Which I would like to remind you people is what a VCR is supposed to be connected to, so obviously it would be watchable.
If you don't like it, you can go grab the DVD rips. Except I have to warn you, they arn't much better (I have both). Back in the 80's, when this show was produced, even big television production studios recorded in analog on tape. And after 25 years, Sony 3/4" U-matic VP series tapes don't hold up any better then homebased 1/2" Betamax or VHS.
Personally, I prefer this collection over the DVD rips. That many of the episodes include the Showtime trailers & leaders and stuff takes me back to the days when I was watching this show on showtime every week when it was new, recording to VHS myself.
The only VALID issue to be made is that one episode has the first few seconds cut off. I can see it now, hit record, then just as the show starts the tape stops because it's full, and you're scrambling for another blank, trying to get it loaded and recording before you miss too much. Been there and done that a few times. The worst is thinking you have a blank tape, and just recorded over the first 30 minutes of Platoon or Top Gun. Been there and done that too. Thank god all the premium channels showed every movie about 100 times a month, so you could re-record it then break the tab off the tape before you screwed it up again.
Anywho, this collection is just fine. Big thanks to the one who took the time to encoded them all. Lot of work there, and it is apperciated by those of us who aren't spoiled idiots.
